As a Show of Caring, Bank Sumsel Babel Donates Hearse to Serve the Bangka Belitung Community

Pangkalpinang, August 28, 2025 – Bank Sumsel Babel has once again demonstrated its concern for the needs of the people of the Bangka Belitung Islands by donating a hearse to the Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government. This assistance was distributed through its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program as a manifestation of the company's commitment to strengthening social services within the community.

The symbolic handover was carried out by Irwan Kurniawan, Head of the Pangkalpinang Branch of Bank Sumsel Babel, and received directly by the Governor of the Bangka Belitung Islands, Dr. (HC) Hidayat Arsani, S.E. This hearse is expected to assist the local government in providing faster, more appropriate, and humane services to grieving families.

The Bangka Belitung Islands Provincial Government expressed its appreciation for Bank Sumsel Babel's consistent contribution to CSR programs in various fields, ranging from education and health to social services. The presence of this hearse is believed to further strengthen the role of the local government in providing public services that directly impact the lives of the community.

Separately, the President Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, Mr. *Festero Mohamad Papeko*, emphasized that this assistance is a tangible manifestation of Bank Sumsel Babel's concern for the community.
