• Change your PIN periodically with a unique combination that is hard to guess.

• Bank officers will NEVER ask for your PIN.

• Check the transaction amount entered by the cashier on the EDC machine.
• Always keep an eye on your card.
• Cover your hand when entering your PIN on the pinpad.

• Do not share your PIN with anyone, including bank officers or family.

• Double swipe is swiping a Credit or Debit card on the cashier machine after payment via EDC.
• Bank Indonesia prohibits card swiping on cashier machines because it can lead to data misuse. One swipe on the EDC is enough.
• To avoid double swipes, ask the cashier beforehand whether they will swipe your card on the cashier machine.
• Prevent the transaction if the merchant cashier tries to swipe your credit or debit card on the cashier machine.
