Bank Sumsel Babel Collaborates with Regional Government to Prevent and Reduce Stunting Rates in Pagaralam.  Bank Sumsel Babel together with the Regional Government (Pemda) continue to be committed to preventing and reducing stunting rates, one of which is in Pagaralam.  Bank Sumsel Babel is one of the regional banks which also plays an active role in preventing stunting through a number of programs including the CSR program.  Acting Governor of South Sumatra (Sumsel) Agus Fatoni, expressed his appreciation for Bank Sumsel Babel's efforts to synergize with the government to reduce stunting rates.

Pagaralam City is among the lowest in South Sumatra, showing the success of the steps taken in efforts to improve community welfare.  The Main Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, Achmad Syamsudin, explained that BSB supports reducing stunting by providing supporting food assistance, eggs and milk to toddlers who experience stunting.  Apart from that, BSB continues to actively participate in donating CSR funds, especially in the health sector for handling stunted toddlers, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers as well as acting as foster fathers and mothers in the program to reduce stunting rates in South Sumatra, especially in Pagaralam City.  "We continue to strive to synergize with the government to continue to encourage the prevention and reduction of stunting rates," he said

Bank Sumsel Babel also focuses on public health, as well as business actors, providing milk from MSMEs.  Meanwhile, the Pagaralam City Government (Pemkot) is collaborating with Bank Sumsel Babel to hold a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program.  Acting The Mayor of Pagaralam, H. Lusapta Yudha Kurnia, expressed his appreciation for the great contribution of Bank Sumsel Babel in the development of Pagaralam City, especially in handling stunting.

"We appreciate Bank Sumsel Babel for making an important contribution to stunting management, including in Pagaralam," he said.
