BANK SUMSEL BABEL LAUNCHING DIGITALIZATION OF REGIONAL GOVERNMENT TRANSACTIONS

As a Regional Development Bank that won the Best Overall Service at the 2023 Service Excellence Award throughout Indonesia, Bank Sumsel Babel has realized its commitment to its mission, which is to manage regional financial ecosystems and business partners in an integrated and sustainable manner, right on our day (15/6) at the Grand Ballroom at Hotel Aryaduta Palembang, Bank Sumsel Babel launched an integrated Local Government Information System (SIPD) with Bank Sumsel Babel. The activity which was attended by the Governor of South Sumatra Mr. H. Herman Deru and all Regents / Mayors throughout South Sumatra and the Bangka Belitung Islands, Bank Sumsel Babel also symbolically handed over mock-ups of local government credit cards (KKPD), both of which are also products of The Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia whose role is to facilitate services for the community. Achmad Syamsudin, Main Director of Bank Sumsel Babel, revealed that Bank Sumsel Babel is ready to play an active role in the regional government financial management ecosystem both for regional financial receipts and expenditures. Apart from that, as the next big step and a form of support for achieving an Electronic-Based Government System, Bank Sumsel Babel will carry out preparations for integration with the e-BLUD application which is also a product of the Ministry of Home Affairs where the use of the application can increase management effectiveness, efficiency and accountability. BLUD finance, "Hopefully with this good cooperation, Bank Sumsel Babel and Regency/City Governments in the Province of South Sumatra and the Babel Islands can provide an increase in the quality of regional financial management services in order to support the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia.
