The Muaradua branch of Bank Sumsel Babel has once again distributed Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aid to the community in South Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency. This initiative reflects the bank’s commitment and its strong, ongoing partnership with the South OKU Regency Government. In 2025, one of the CSR contributions included the construction of a dome for the Sa’adatuddaroini Mosque, located in the Bumi Agung neighborhood, Bumi Agung Village, Muaradua District (Wednesday, December 17, 2025). This assistance is intended to support places of worship for the local community. Furthermore, Bank Sumsel Babel has provided various other forms of CSR support, such as the development of a culinary plaza, a home renovation program, food aid, and the provision of fish fry. All such assistance is channeled through the South OKU Regency Government and is dedicated to meeting the needs of the community. Wahyu Apriluddin, Branch Manager of Bank Sumsel Babel Muaradua, stated that the CSR program represents the company’s social responsibility toward the environment and the public. "Through this CSR program, Bank Sumsel Babel strives to provide direct benefits to the community while supporting the local government’s development initiatives," said Wahyu (Friday, December 19, 2025). Meanwhile, Ruswani, S.Ag., Head of the Public Welfare Division (Kesra) for South OKU Regency, expressed appreciation for Bank Sumsel Babel’s contribution as a partner to the local government. "We extend our gratitude for the support provided by Bank Sumsel Babel through its CSR program. This assistance is a great help to the local government in improving the welfare of the community," he remarked. "We hope that Bank Sumsel Babel will continue to play an active role in supporting social, economic, and religious development in South OKU Regency."
